About Dr. Michaud:
Dr. Michaud is a Licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing mental health services for children, adolescents and adults. He maintains a general therapy practice in Billerica, Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire. Dr. Michaud is a graduate of the psychology program at the University of New Hampshire with pre-doctoral training in developmental disorders at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in Waltham, Massachusetts. He has also received training in family and couples therapy at the Kantor Family Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dr. Michaud has special interest and training in the following clinical areas: treating individuals and families struggling with developmental disabilities (especially autistic spectrum disorders); behavioral consultation and training for parents and teachers; disorders of childhood and adolescence; family and couples psychotherapy. Services for adults include treatment of depression, anxiety and stress related problems, trauma and grief/loss issues, spiritually focused psychotherapy and working with interfaith couples.
